Just wanted to show this off. A long time acquaintance sent me this in the mail today. It’s a stock issuance for the Houma Baseball Club Inc, which is the vehicle for the Houma Indians baseball team within the Evangeline League. The great thing is that my great grandfather was the President and signed in the bottom left corner. Some reason, absolutely no memorabilia exists (I’m dying for a uniform), but extremely special to have this from the start of the team.

Wow - talk about coincidence. I am currently writing a piece on Roy "Tex" Sanner who played for Houma in 1947 and 1948. in '48 he won the hitting Triple Crown while also going 21-2 as a starting pitcher!

That certificate is really nice, especially since your great-grandfather signed it.

I believe I've seen a scorecards, but don't think I've ever seen any uniforms from the Evangeline League either.
