1 Attachment(s)
I wasn't able to find the old thread concerning Rube Marquard autographs and whether R's like this were wife signed. can someone post a link? Also any new information or thoughts on if these are genuine? I still have a small pile of autographed cards of mine I am just not sure about and this is one of them

I don’t recall seeing Rube’s autograph without that bubble “R”… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I've seen that style authenticated going back to the early days of PSA and never understood why. I've always stayed far away from them.
Towards the end of his long life, Rube's fine motor movements became problematic for him. The piles of autograph requests obviously never diminished. Like many wives before and since, Jane was clearly helping ease his burden. |
Thanks everyone. After carefully reading the previous thread and this one I can only conclude my CJ is wife signed

Yep, the missus. I've got Mrs. Faber and Mrs. Goslin on some vintage cards.
