The Movie 'Electra Glide in Blue' has nothing to do with this, but...
This made me think of at least that movie title:
https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...-play-baseball In years past, the pop-up slide was used almost universally. With a nod to the actual physics involving the head-first slide possibly getting you there quicker, there has been and ever-increasing number of finger and hand injures as byproducts. Now baserunners are using modified overn-mitts. Trea Turner realized all the harm that can come from head-first slides and has perfected an 'old alternative'. Fun to watch. IMO . |
I have tried to find clips of Chicago members, Peter Cetera, Terry Kath, Walt Parazaider, Lee Loughnane, from the movie Electra Glide In Blue on YouTube but I have never had any luck.

Wikipedia has the band members listed with their character's name. Terry Kath is listed as 'the killer'. No Spoiler Alert here, but you can read the plot and find out when he appears. I'll bet clips are rare if they exist at all. I remember seeing the movie several years ago, but did not know of the Chicago connection at that time. . |

Even Trea Turner will get old.
-but, I could never do that even when I was his age... ...unless it was on one of those Slip-and-Slides you set up in your back yard and run the hose on it. . |
