Gar Miller Cards
Has anyone had any experience with buying cards from Gar Miller a dealer listed on the NET54 forum ? I haven't seen any topics where anything was said about him. I just place a small order. Thanks in advance.

Miller started dealing in the 1950’s. He’s good to go.

I didn't think to ask for references. :o He said that he would check to see if the cards were still in stock and send them out to me. And then that I could send him a check.

Thank you for the great information, everyone.

Yes Gar been a straight shooter for many years !

I bought cards on approval from Gar way back in the '80's. Amazed that he is still doing it.

I have also bought from Gar. Many, many years ago I bought, at the time, a fairly expensive card from him. No problem at all

Also purchased from him no problems

I bought from Gar in the early '70's. Solid as they come, super nice guy.

I emailed Gar and told him that his website isn't working correctly. He said that he's been trying to get his webmaster to fix the problem. With no luck. I called and placed an order. He's very easy to deal with like everyone has been saying. Thank you for the responses.

Gar Miller
I've known Gar since 1966 when he visited my home when I was 16 years old!
Later he was a fixture at some of the early "conventions" as shows were known at the time. I bought my R319 of Lajoie from him for $250 if I recall correctly. Visited his house and bought some things from him about three or four years ago. Then saw him at the recent National in Atlantic City where he, John Rumeriez, Eric Lange and yours truly relived our early days in the hobby and told old war stories. Noting that we were the oldest hobbyists in terms of years collecting that were at the show. Boy, we got OLD fast! |
