New Hampshire Family of Collectors

I have had this saved for a while. Those who collect stamps like Steve B know that Noble Spirit is one of the top sellers on ebay. They probably eclipse PWCC and Greg Morris in dollar value of total sales. I bought something from them once so I am on their email newsletter list. They do these podcasts that are also on youtube. This particular podcast is with former New Hampshire governor and Chief of Staff to George Bush, John Sununu and his son, former US Senator John E. Sununu. Very interesting video. If the stamps don't interest you, though there is a nice little segment showing all sorts of covers signed by the president, skip to about 36 minutes where they open the drawers to that big wooden cabinet sitting in the middle of the floor.

Enjoy!

not a secret

I bought a T card HOFer from a very nice guy on Net54 a few years ago..... and when it came the return address was one of the Sununus in New Hampshire! It was so cool to me that I saved the mailer for my collection! And he was a truly good guy to deal with as I said! Thank God for the great hobby of card collecting and Net54 ! I have really enjoyed the hobby more in the last 8 years being a member.

I've sold to the younger Sununu too. I remember chatting back and forth a little bit. Seemed very nice.

Thanks for sharing Michael. Stamps are not for me but the video was interesting and informative

I watched the card portion, and it was very interesting.

I wonder where that cabinet came from. It's the sort of thing I was going to start making at one time, and may eventually do that.

I've bought some stuff from Nobe Spirit, and they're like most huge sellers. Mostly ok stuff, but you do really have to look at the pics because the help isn't the best at spotting stuff. Which is actually great for me, as the plate varieties I collect usually get missed.

That was excellent. Thanks for sharing.

I've sold him a few cards,in the past.
He's great to deal with,always.
I also believe he's a member of Mensa?
Hope I spelled it right?

I believe that the misspelling of 'Mensa' is how they weed out many applicants.

You did spell it correctly. Latin for table. Mensa International does not use all caps for the word though some mistakenly do.

Thanks for sharing, enjoyed the video, had no idea John's interests extended to philately. John E. seemed to be cut off a time or two as he tried to weave Old Judge cards into the interview. Still loved it :)
