I purchased this at a thrift shop, mainly due to the game used collection part of it. Was wondering what the value might be?

No idea of value but it is a very cool item. With Halper and Goldin involved you know it is authentic.

with the signature badly faded (most likely by exposure to sunlight over time), I'd guess about $50

I agree completely with Bill.

Both the autograph and the picture are faded.

Too bad. It was a nice presentation though.

Just noticed you are collector of Ripken items and all things Yankees. Interesting combo. Is there a story behind it?

Just a tip for the OP...

Hit 'Edit' in the lower right corner, then click the 'Go Advanced' button, and this will allow you to edit the title of this thread and spell Ripken correctly.

Cal's last name has been misspelled for years lol....Heck this is from his HS Yearbook (1978)
