I thought I'd share this. I live just outside of Factoryville and Eddie Frierson will be performing "Matty" on Mathewson's birthday Friday August 12 at 7:30. It's been quite a while since he's performed this here so if anyone is near NEPA, it's well worth the trip! Here's a link to an old Keith Olberman review of it.

I've always liked the weird caption on the E98, with it's different font and the offset quote mark on it's own top line.

Me too, there's a Green one that Andy Huntoon owns that has a wet sheet transfer which looks really neat on the card. I've only seen WST on Green E98's, none of the other colors.

Glenn, those are amazing. Are you selling them at National? What kind of candy was in there, like little hard candies?

The book is a great display item.... not the autographed edition. The "ticket".... hey GO FIND ANOTHER!!!

A couple of m113 issues and pages meant to be removed from Baseball Magazine in April 1915 and December 1925.

I try not to be jealous when I see so many nice things I don't have. Here's my only contribution. I've never had the extra money when the right card came knocking!

Glenn, something came up and I will miss the national this year. If that Matty box does not sell, let me know and maybe we can work something out- I think it’s super cool.

This Paul Thompson photo, dated to the 1910s, while not a carbon-copy pose, might well have served as an inspiration for his 1914 Cracker Jack.

That Tuxedo box is a beauty! Can't decide if I like that one better than your "Fan for a Fan" Matty but they are both beautiful items.
