R423 Back Variations.....are these Red or Orange ?
 

Recently bought a group of 11 separated R423 backs that appear to be Red....or are these considered Orange back tint variations....I know this has been debated before but would like opinions....thanks

I think Red and Orange R423 are the same
 

That is a great question and I believed I have finally figured it out.

The advertisement for this issue says the strips come in FOUR colors.

The colors noted in the PSA pop report are
Green
Blue
Purple
...and no color listed

This would indicate red/orange being the same color which PSA does not label as a distinct color.

By the way, I need a Jackie Robinson in any color so if you or anyone has one please let me know!
