W600’s Let’s see Some
4 Attachment(s)
Probably been done before (several times). But who cares!
I love the W600 set. So many rookies, classic Horner portraits, one of the few sets (other than e107) that contains players from the late 1800’s into the early 1900’s, and they are rare. There are four (4) types, shown below in order of type I-IV. Type I has the leaf at bottom, Type II has the crossed bats with “complements of” above the bats. Type III is exactly the same as Type II but “Complements of” is removed. Type 4 is much more complex and completely different from the earlier types. We have some serious W600 experts on the board, I am sure some will chime in with info and will answer any questions. Let’s see some W600s. |
Props to Ryan for bringing card collecting porn on a Tuesday night.

My only one…
1903 version. I think there are only 3 or 4 Flicks known.

That is an awesome quartet Ryan. I usually do not like cards with players in their street clothes, but I will make an exception for that Wagner.
I know that the famous Wagner in uniform is a Horner image, but the other three do not look like his work. Do you know who took the images of Young, Mathewson and Wagner in his street clothes? |

Some Great Looking Cards Team
Wow Ryan, Chad, Angyale, and David Love these cards. Sadly I gave a W600 Wagner up(not best shape but I liked it) to get a Jackson Card I wanted/needed. But keep these cards coming |

My NYAL: (Garvin played 2 games in 1904 at end of his career for NYAL - his only other NYAL card is E107, ergo...) I contributed Ganzel to the Old Cardboard gallery last year, but another turned up recently in an auction.

how about a W600-adjacent card?
https://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...ffries%201.jpg 1904 Jeffries-Munroe. Two-sided card. Only known example. As I understand provenance, Tik & Tik found it, sold it to Chad Dreier, he consigned it, and I won it at auction. |
Type 2 and type 4

Great cabinets! Looking through old threads for something, and I came across this thread re w600 started just a few months ago. Sorry for the duplicate thread, although if any issue deserves a duplicate thread, it’s w600!
