Is this a known error? Google turns up nothing. The card has Larry Doby's birthplace and date.

The card I have in my set is the same as yours and all cards currently listed by Deans and COMC are also the same. Uncorrected....and maybe undetected error ? How did you notice the error and whose BD it was ?

I collect players from my hometown of Paterson, NJ and Larry Doby moved here in HS and lived here for many years.

Its funny that Hank Edwards 1949 Leaf also has the same error, Edwards was born in 1919 so he would have been 30, not 25 and he didn't live in Paterson but Doby did and Doby was 25 in 1949.
