I bought this postcard this morning at the flea market. I thought it resembled Chic and for $3 I took the chance. Thoughts?

Thank you Tony.

Looks like him to me. Plus he was from St Paul and he would have been in his mid 20's by 1913. Anyone have a picture of his wife?

Sept 5, 1913: Gandil 2-4 in the first game of a doubleheader against the Yankees in Washington. 0-3 in game 2. FWIW. Add: and if it happens to say "Sep. 15" instead of "Sept. 5", Washington played a home game that day as well. He went 0-4. |
When Gandil was in Saint Paul it was when he was under the age of 4...He was born there not really "from" there...he grew up in California

Here is a picture of Gandil in 1916 with this photo...side by side its easy to see its not him...eyes are too far apart, mouth isnt the same and ears arent sticking out like Gandil's did (also he was in the middle of playing a game when this picture was taken in St Paul)
