FS: c.1900 Photo - Town game w/ Beloit, Northwestern & Michigan Uniforms etc
 

FS: Interesting c.1900 mounted group photo of two baseball teams in a town game setting. One of the teams (on the right) is wearing a mix of college uniforms: Beloit, Northwestern, and Michigan can be seen. The other team (on the left) is wearing an assortment of uniforms, the only one identifiable being Dorpian A.C., which originates in Schenectady, NY. While not 100% sure, it seems that there is also a black player on this team, standing 2nd from the right. There is no writing on the mount so exact time and place may never be known, but perhaps research and a bit of luck will turn up more info. As stated above, my guess on year is about 1900-1902. In any case, a great photo. Tons of detail in the crowd in the stands and at the edge of the field.
