1955 All American Sports Club Sheets. Cut or no Cut???
1 Attachment(s)
Hi Gang:
I just picked up 7 sheets from the 1955 All American Sports Club set. I don't collect them It seems these have skyrocketed in value once PSA decided to grade individual photos as " Hand Cut" Included on my sheets are the following HOFer's: Campanella, Roberts, Doby, Jackie Robinson, 2 diff Pee Wee Reese, Mathews, Spahn, Irvin, Willie Mays, Rizzuto, Ashburn, Wynn, Feller, Slaughter, Ted Williams, Musial, Kaline, Snider, Schoendiest, Wilhelm, Berra, Fox and Kiner So, my conundrum is to cut up the sheets and sell individual photos or sell the sheets individually or in a group. Below is a photo of the Mays sheet. Curious in everyone's take. I am usually against cutting up sheets, but in this instance it seems appropriate. |
I wouldn’t destroy the sheet.

From a hobby standpoint I would say do not cut. But if I did not collect them and profit was the driver …..

It’s a project
If you cut and submit you will sell a few quickly but will be out the grading fees and be stuck with a bunch that aren’t so easy to sell. If it was me I’d let someone else speculate on the values of the cards and sell them as sheets at a discount but then you’re out of the hassles. Rocky

Up to you, of course, but I don't like it when sheets are cut up.

I didn’t even know those existed. There sure are a lot of Cubs on that sheet.

Uncut sell by sheet or lot...
