Interesting tid-bit on "Salida" Tom Hughes: He was to the 1914 Miracle Braves, kinda like what Sutcliffe was to the '84 Cubs. Hughes was acquired late in the season; stepped up to help them catch McGraw's Giants; beat the Cubs to clinch.
