Early 1900s Reeded Chest Protector
 

Just wanted to share a consignment being featured in the current LOTG Auction.... A rare style early 1900s Reeded Chest Protector.

It would extremely difficult to find a nicer example, as this one was likely never used. All straps remain firmly attached and there are no holes, tears or ink writing of any kind. Just some minor handling and shelf wear on this amazing piece of early Catchers Equipment. Amazingly, it still retains its retailer hang-tag (attached to the neck strap).

This would be a fine addition to any vintage Equipment Collection, and the bidding remains low (with only a single day remaining).
