Strongsville Show Report

I, unfortunately, couldn't attend the Strongsville show this year. Any reports from members that went? What did you pick up? Thoughts on the show?

I have a few friends that attended and these were some of their thoughts:

1. Show was packed with people, great turnout.

2. Dealers were able to have one showcase of modern cards. Wondering if the show will go from strictly vintage to a mix of modern/vintage in the future.

3. Some dealers had raw cards, but there seemed to be a lot more graded cards for sale at the show than in past shows.

4. Prices on cards were mostly non negotiable. Heard this statement throughout the show "If I don't sell it here, I will sell it at the next show"

I went on Friday, pretty busy. Prices were mostly firm and fairly strong. Some very nice material and a decent selection. I didn't buy much, but I wasn't really looking for anything in particular. Been going to this show for 12 years or more, and will return.

Show was packed, I was there Friday and Saturday. I didn’t pick anything up via dealers but made some trades amongst other collectors and was able to network with some great people and members. Prices were fairly strong..

I was there for a few hours on Saturday. They need a new venue. Too cramped for how popular it has become. The dealers I dealt with were fantastic. I was able to snag 4 cards for very reasonable prices. Very fun to meet several collectors I've only ever known virtually.

Vintage was KING.
