Any good vintage card shops between Houston and San Antonio?
I hope this is the correct place to post this. I'll be going on a short road trip between these 2 cities and was wondering if anyone knew of any good vintage card stops in-between these 2 cities or a short drive off of I-90???
Thanks in advance and apologies if this is not posted in the correct place. |
Hi Mike- I assume that you mean I10, between Houston and San Antonio. I live just a bit north of Houston and have been in San Antonio a number of times, but have never found a decent shop. I've picked up few items in antique malls over the years, but the base rate of finding anything decent is really low.
But do stop at a Bucc-ee's gas station/store/rest stop. It's a thing (for road tips, not card/sports related at all). |
Don't really know Texas geography but if you pass through Austin, Card Traders of Austin is a must visit

I did mean I-10 (not trying to go to Montana this time :p ) Thanks for the tip! My wife is planning most of it and I have been made aware of Bucc-ee's, heard it's quite the experience, lol.

Probably the best card shop in San Antonio, is Sports Cards Plus at the corner of Lockhill-Selma Rd and NW Military Hwy. The owner is Charlie DiPietro.
