Newbie to old-timey baseball gloves - advice?
 

Hello all

I am a vintage card collector and live to display my collection in intersting ways and have a vintage catchers mitt from the 1940’s (I think!) who a friend gifted to me many years ago (see images below - love it!)

I’d be interested in adding other old time gloves but would like to do without breaking the bank - would welcome advice from experienced collectors of vintage baseball equipment (gloves, catchers masks, etc)

I’m not interested in game worn major league items (as cool as that would be) - I just love adding interesting items to round out the look of my “card cave”
