Best thing about the new CBA, IMO - no more zombie runner in extra innings!

The MLBPA Executive Council voted 8-0 to refuse the deal, but were overruled by the players. The Union is so out of touch with the rest of the players. They thought the deal was fair and they wanted to play baseball.

And no dumb 7 inning double headers

Yes! Another good thing.

It was in the best interest of the Union to continue to wield their power by continuing with the strike. It was in the Players' best interests to play.

It's never a good idea to be under the control of someone who does not have the same vested self-interests as you.

And now they're bringing back the zombie runner after all. :mad:

I'm in the minority on this one . . . I don't mind it. Shouldn't start in the 10th but maybe 12th. Games are plenty long enough. At the point in my life where I don't appreciate 15 or more innings, and likely will be long asleep!

I can get behind that! Give us a couple more innings of normal baseball first at least..
