Sam Crane - 19th c. player and sportswriter
 

I've been looking for examples of 19th c. player (1880-1890) and sportswriter Sam Crane's signature, and outside of a 1924 passport application, can't find anything. This includes checking with the HOF. Crane died in 1925.

Does anyone on the board have Crane in their collection, or a photo/scan, or recall seeing one anywhere?
