March 2022 Pick Ups

Happy to add this (Red) MJ Rookie Ticket from 1984 (I see them far less than 1985 stubs).

Very Nice Pickup

....speaking of Jordan Rookie Year tickets, if you want one, and at a MUCH MUCH cheaper price, because they are not yet PSA'd, I've got 2 up on Ebay, auction ends Sunday night:
MJ's first double https://www.ebay.com/itm/185318050178 MJ's first time fouling out: https://www.ebay.com/itm/185318052754 ......and now back to your regularly scheduled program. |
I got this large poor quality Tris Speaker photo for my initial bid at Lelands. But it'll look good next to other Speaker items. It doesn't have to carry the collection or be a center piece. It's been a while since I got something framed, but I might consider it. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...06fad87931.jpg

I am actually selling this but I thought it was interesting enough to merit a post:
https://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...sey%20Silk.jpg This is a 16" x 16" silk of Jack Dempsey. Very delicate and rare; I've never seen another. |

First Grandchild gave me an autographed ball. I must admit to stealing the idea from Ben.

I picked up this cardboard fan. I have never seen one prior to this. As they say if you haven’t seen it before you may never again. With that in mind I purchased it. There is so little period produced Clemente memorabilia I’m always thrilled when I discover something unusual like this. It originates from a religious theme park named Holy Land in Waterbury Connecticut. The park was active from 1958-1984. It re-opened in 2014. Seems like a strange place to me but I am very happy they made this fan. It’s the little things like this that keep me in the hunt.

Photographer's ticket for the Opening Ceremony of the 2022 Olympics. Along with collecting Olympic photography I also collect items related to the photographers, including credentials, vests, badges and patches. Unlike pro sports the photographers need tickets along with their credentials at the Olympics. This prevents too many photographers from attending events since their shooting areas are usually defined. The oldest photographer identified tickets I have and have seen are 1948 London. Prior to that there are press tickets or no defined tickets. Some of the games after 1948 did not have photo identified tickets. 1972 Munich and 1976 Innsbruck used press tickets. 1996 Atlanta used 'Accreditation Required' tickets.

Thank you Lou and Inside The Park, for the newest (and earliest) addition to my Dodgers pass collection.
If anybody has any they might be willing to sell / trade I'm looking for the years pre-1965 (except 1956), 1977, 1985, 1987, 1989, all from 1990 to date (except 1995) |
Very nice. Congrats
