May I ask a question here? What is the actual defining line between junk wax and collectible/desirable when it comes to baseball cards? 1985? 1986? It has to be somewhere around then, I am guessing. I'm sure it is clearly defined somewhere.

Re: Hodge podge of 80s/90s sets

I would think it's more defined by production numbers, aesthetics and desirability of the stars and rookie cards. There are probably some sets on either side of the timeline that could be considered junk and others that are worthwhile. Obviously I make no assertion about the desirability of any of those offered here.

To me, there is no defining line. Everyone has their own defination.

I'm not saying anything about these specific cards. They look great, and I have MANY like them. I'm just asking for my own education. And yes I picked the wrong thread to ask.

Best of luck with this auction!
