Sunoco/Coca Cola Dream Team set of 12 tribute cards. 4) 1988 Fleer world series insert set of 12 5) 1999 Studio MLB insert set of 20 6) 1986 Fleer all star insert set of 12 7) Early 90s aftermarket pack of 30 cards Total 147 cards by my count. May I ask a question here? What is the actual defining line between junk wax and collectible/desirable when it comes to baseball cards? 1985? 1986? It has to be somewhere around then, I am guessing. I'm sure it is clearly defined somewhere.

I would think it's more defined by production numbers, aesthetics and desirability of the stars and rookie cards. There are probably some sets on either side of the timeline that could be considered junk and others that are worthwhile. Obviously I make no assertion about the desirability of any of those offered here.

I'm not saying anything about these specific cards. They look great, and I have MANY like them. I'm just asking for my own education. And yes I picked the wrong thread to ask.
