My New Graig Kreindler painting - The 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings...

I just received this from the UPS driver. As everyone knows, Graig is a perfectionist, so this one has taken a while, but it was definitely worth the wait.

Off to my framer later this week and then I need to find a worthy spot for it.

I cannot imagine how difficult it is to base a painting off of CDV.

Thanks again Graig. I love it.

Amazing Kevin!!!!! Thanks for sharing!

p.s. I'm reading the book now on 1869 Red Stockings, great read so far!

Graigs paintings are second to none. I think in 100 years his works will be beside the most iconic artists of all time in museums.

Unbelievable artist, congrats Kevin. Nice California impressionist on the wall too.

Looks almost like taking the CDV and turning it into a color photo. Astounding!

Very cool Kevin. Enjoy

This right there is why there will never be another. His talent(quality) coupled with unmatched research. Truly incredible.

Awesome as usual! Jealous as usual!

Nice mason work on the wall/chimney also. ;)

terjung 02-23-2022 09:01 AM

Absolutely fantastic! Graig's work is unbelievable and is even more captivating in person. I still love the painting he did of Honus that he did for me.

Congratulations on your magnificent addition!

ETA: I never noticed the Clipper medals on that photo/card before this thread.

ETA (again): Notice the difference in treatment of the two boots on the front, center guy. Graig's treatment of light is unequaled!

In all these years, I never noticed the medals.
