I usually dont show cards off--but I love this Lou Gehrig and thought I would share--Beautiful Red Background and nice white borders--scan doesnt do it justice---Lou is one of my favorite players.

Beautiful.

At the National in Chicago a few years ago someone was selling a great PSA 6. I can't even bring myself to repeat the price. A fraction of what it would go for today. I didn't have that much cash and didn't want to leave to find a bank. Uggh. Prob the one major Lou card I've never owned. Regrets.

You have a talent for understatement, sir. That is simply gorgeous!

I was quickly scanning your post for a price so I could be the first to say "I'll take it." LOL Great card. Congrats.

Great card Don, hard to find white borders on the 32's, the Gehrig is my favor card in that set too.

Agree it's a great card, but personally I prefer a little toning.

What I really like about the set is imagining putting out a set at the height of the depression, with paper quality and print quality. Surprised any sets were produced during that time.

I can't remember now if the date question about the Presidents set (based on the inclusion of FDR who didn't take office until March 1933) also affected the (predominantly) baseball set. In any case, it's a wonderful set IMO, classic in every way.
