Dempsey Autograph Opinions Please

Dug this out going through and breaking up a collection.
Ok, Dempsey is normally a pretty straightforward autograph. Not a toughie, unless it is early years. Appears to be a period 1920's Apeda Studio photo. Fountain pen. Confused me because it's not in Dempsey's usual slant. Much more upright then normal. Looking through a good amount of Dempsey exemplar's it appears if there was any point he wrote in this style it would have been in the mid-20's to early 30's time period. It's pretty off from any later period Dempsey examples. Found this on the HistoryDirect Ebay platform. Dempsey typed letter signed. Almost an exact match. On Dempsey stationary to Charles Edison (son of Thomas). Undated. https://www.ebay.com/itm/30360700324...cAAOSwB4Je9kQA Found another similar autograph on Baer vs. Uzcudun promotional stationary from 1931 (Dempsey was the promoter), but the scan is too small to be definitive at all. Any opinions? |
Nope. Secretarial. Literally everything is off, from the lefty slant to formation of letters like the D in Dempsey. It is so far from every good Dempsey I've ever handled that I've gotta believe they are secretarial rather than forgeries.

Yeah, that's my suspicion. Anybody have any 20's era Dempsey sigs they want to show off?
