Spaulding and Reach Guide Team photos
 

There must be 1,000s of Spaulding and Reach guide photos of major and mostly minor league teams. Were the original archives of these photos ever preserved? Sold off? Seems very few original photos from these guides come to market.

I don’t know the larger answer, but I once owned several of the actual photos used in the 1913 Reach guide from the 1912 World Series. Most were action shots, but there was also a composite and team photos of the Red Sox and Giants. These were small photos, no where near 8 x10’s.

I purchased several individual Detroit Tigers oval portrait images from him years ago.

The images were about 1”x2” each. Thinking they were used in a 1904 (or so) guide.
