Feb. Pickups
That`s a hell of a nice shot Brian, great addition. Thought this 1932 Series bat give a way would be a nice compliment for the Babe Underwear piece. In pretty decent shape and almost the same size as the skibbies item.

SL Portfolio Schenectady 1904 team
1 Attachment(s)
From the recent Clean Sweep auction, picked up this bargain. Team includes Art Goodwin altho he played for the team in 1903 not 1904. Goodwin played 1 game for the NYAL in 1903, consisting of his entire major league career. Before and after 1903 the Schenectsdy team was known as the Engineers in recognition of the large Edison/GE presence in the city. But for 1903 it was known as the Frog Alleys. Frog Alley is a reference to the old Stockade area that often floods from the Erie canal

Some bats...
1 Attachment(s)
A longtime collecting friend passed away a couple years ago from heart issues and I've stayed in contact with his son, offering to someday purchase some of his Dad's old bats along with other stuff. That day came last weekend and we're both happy with the outcome. The Greenberg G79 is post career, which I knew years ago, but still love it. The Colavito K55 had a shattered handle with an old, amatuer repair that I'm hoping to get signed soon. The York is a mid 40's pro model & probably a gamer. I didn't know he had the signed Palmeiro gamer from the late 80's. The Appling is a mid 40's pro model & possibly a gamer. The Cochrane still has some cork under/next to the old tape job. The Kell F4 is a mid 50's pro model that doesn't exactly match his ordering record, so unsure if he used it. The W & D Lajoie is a 35", 39 oz. beast!

I got these two pieces to add to my Eddie Mathews collection. The figure is from 1956. The metal HOF plaque was made for the HOF in 1985. They are pretty small. The figure of Eddie is a little under two and a half inches tall.

Well, it was originally scheduled for December 23, 2021, but was rescheduled because of COVID. Crosby's 500th goal game ticket.

Picked up this candid shot sometime around New Years, but just got around to sorting and scanning it. I presume the top of the back was inscribed by his wife. Ross Youngs Spring Training 1925.

Just acquired this piece. Fits well with the SI collection and advertising. I loathe using the word rare, but I have never seen another one.
