PSA multiple autograph grading question

2 Attachment(s)
So I had an Apollo 11 Insurance Cover with all 3 Astronauts graded. Came back a PSA 9. I would like to know sub grades for each Astronaut. I called customer service (WORSE wait time than the IRS.....don't select call back option as they NEVER CALL BACK)
Bottom line is that I was told that PSA DOES NOT keep information on sub grades after assigning an overall grade. I find that hard to believe. They just ditch the back up to their blended grade ?? Has anyone else had any experience with this issue ? I feel like calling my old fried Jackie Curiel who has always been a great help at PSA.

I don't believe they subgrade individual autographs, they just average all the autographs and come up with a grade.

That's correct....I was hoping that they could reveal the sub grades even though not on the flip

That's not surprising at all.

To what reason do you need to see the individual grades? Are you considering cutting up the item?

What a total waste of time and money.

I felt 2 of the signatures were 10's
I want to know why it came back a 9

You're correct. I am pretty stupid. I bought this Apollo 11 signed $1 bill on Heritage 9 months ago for $5,500. Had it slabbed at PSA and sold to a private party for $18,250. I should have talked to you before I had it encapsulated.

Congrats!! And well done for showing why some of us do authenticate items. To each his own......

Both of these tri-signed items are cool as heck. Well done. I tend to stay in the baseball lane but those are great historical pieces.

all powers to profiteering, but if you're looking to slab and flip or particulars about why an auto grade is a 9 or a 10 (kind of a stupid concept to me) then this is probably not the forum to ask.

there are other forums (like psa itself) who can't tell you if a mantle or a dimaggio is real but they can absolutely tell you all the ins and outs of PSA and the grading/auto process.

I was merely responding to David Atkatz who told me that getting it graded and slabbed was "a total waste of time and money". My OP had NOTHING to do with value....I merely wanted to know if anyone had experience with the issue of having a multiple signed item graded.

Wow!!! And all due to PSA!!! Bully for you. (And congrats in finding a total asshole for a customer.)
