Sad News -- Jim Bubba Bennett
 

Bubba was one of my favorite people in the hobby and I woke up this morning in disbelief to a FB post he had left us.

Bubba had a card store in Albuquerque for more than 30 years and was a regular back in the day (and in the most recent days) at the larger DFW shows.

In fact, he and his wife were vendors at the last 2 Dallas Card Shows and I was fortunate enough to catch up some with them and can report they had excellent sales both times.

A true gentleman and mensch and I will miss him dearly

Thanks for sharing the sad news. Bubba was also a friend of mine. I’m in Albuquerque and was born and raised in NM, and frequented his shop for almost 30 years before he closed it down. He was so fun to talk to and will be very missed. Condolences to his family and friends
