FREE ‘69T Rose All-Star (poor condition MK)
 

OK, I don’t know where or how I came to own this card, I just recall laughing that someone wanted to make Charlie Hustle look like Boris Badenov from the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon. It’s been on display in my home office for some time and the more I look at the card the more I realize how unfortunate it was that someone defaced a perfectly good ‘69T Rose All-Star. I mean, it’s otherwise a decent card! Thus, I’m offering it for free to a good home, I’ll even pay for USPS First class shipping. First person to reply here can claim this “prize”. After posting, I will PM the “winner” to get shipping info. On a side note, I can’t be the only person on this forum who owns an otherwise nice vintage card with such unfortunate defacing. Would love to see some others.

It’s always made me laugh. Juvenile perhaps, but it’s true. Whoever did that must have either hated Pete Rose or been a fan of Boston Blackie.

Sold. My 9 year old daughter loves this card. Probably far more than without the mustache. If still available I’ll take it.

Card arrived. My daughter and I had a good time laughing about it. Of course my son got jealous at least until he got a few Pokémon cards. All good.
