Great card! I have one postmarked 9/24/08, the day after the infamous "Merkle's Boner" game between the Cubs and Giants. The writing indicates it was sent by a guy in Chicago to his brother in New York. Alas, no mention of the game.

I can be wrong, but I don't believe you can have this one postmarked in 1908. It may have the same image, but have a different marking on the back and different notation on the front.

My notes show this version in Auction is circa 1910.
