Special! 3 ISSUES SCD 1987-STYLE!
4 Attachment(s)
Being the "pack-rat" that I am, I even saved copies of my old SCD's from the '80's, back when it was a "must-have, one heck of a good hobby publication" to have coming every week or 2! 1987 was when SCD went from bi-monthly to every week & the pgs ran from around 150 to near 400 per issue! Mag is in the 8 x 11 format.
You will get 3 random copies from 1987, shipped in a padded Flat Rate envelope for a TOTAL $15.00. (3 copies can weigh up to 2lbs, so I'm basically giving these to you for a couple of bucks!!) Scans show sample copy F-B-Inside & Index. (Note the Hobby Icon names in the Index). Mags are CLEAN & in GREAT Condition! I can accommodate 2-3 Buyers, so 1st come, 1st served. Just PM/EM ME! If you weren't subscribing back in the '80's, I urge you to grab a couple of issues to see what the Hobby was like during the "BOOM YEARS"!! |
HaHa, those are great. Almost wish I didn't recycle mine years ago.
I think it's amazing, that in 1987 Mid-Atlantic Coin Exchange was selling a raw 1984 Nestle Don Mattingly card, for more then a full run of Topps Football sets from 1978-86. |
Dan--
Stuff like that is why some of the younger and/or newer collectors would enjoy reading what was in these issues back in the day! These SCD's should be PRICELESS!! LOL! |
Several sold so far!
More available--just drop me a note! |
A wealth of information in these old issues by some Hobby Greats!
I will make sure you get 3 different months for a variety! |

I remember buying an enormous amount of them back in the 1980’s from a classified ad in the most recent issue at the time. So help me, I ended up with several hundreds and kept them in order for many years until it got so out of hand and I had no room to work! I loved them so much and now and then I tinker the idea of subscribing again. Any suggestions if I should? Is it worth it! Are they still so thin and skinny to where you can make paper airplanes? Lol
I’d love hearing some thoughts, Thanks! |
