Not sure I should make a comment or joke about these...Lol:eek:

Casey2296 01-10-2022 08:11 AM

They'll fit perfectly in the spokes of my bicycle.

Pretty much produces the same sound as any of them talking.

Frank A 01-10-2022 08:36 AM

They would make a great bonfire.

timzcardz 01-10-2022 08:39 AM

Ugh, no refractors.

But . . .

"Cards with pieces of "yard-used" presidential campaign signs." :D

Peter_Spaeth 01-10-2022 08:52 AM

The cards of Bernie Sanders and the Squad should come in a Venezuelan edition.

Well played Peter.

Fred 01-10-2022 09:23 AM

I want the 2-ply edition.

KMayUSA6060 01-10-2022 09:31 AM

I came here for the comments. They have not disappointed.

Rich Klein 01-10-2022 09:44 AM

Just as a note, these were done at least in 1989 and 1991 and perhaps other years as well

I have one of the ones from 1989. Has the same design as the 1989 Fleer cards.

“ Secure your box or case now before they sell out.”

For some reason, I don’t anticipate that being an issue.

swarmee 01-10-2022 11:13 AM

I bought a few boxes both years the new company has made them. Pretty good. Selling for between $2-8 card on my COMC account every once in a while.
The owner wanted to put autographed cards in the packs, but was warned by Congress that's he's not allowed to do it for commercial purposes.

Hard to collect a set when every card is an error card.

Exhibitman 01-10-2022 06:26 PM

I'd get a set just to wipe my ass with half of them.

Tao_Moko 01-10-2022 08:19 PM

Have they released a traded set yet with Cheney and Manchin?

sreader3 01-10-2022 08:22 PM

I’m waiting for the “in action” variations. Those will be awesome.

I'm not sure bathroom stall action shots at the local rest stop would be as popular as the classic 72 action shots from Topps.

bn2cardz 01-10-2022 08:31 PM

This was a fully funded kickstarter. So, yes, there is interest.

Now that is a clever comment, sir!

Hirbonzig 01-11-2022 07:49 AM

Don’t waste your time and money submitting these cards to be graded. They’ll all come back as UN-Authentic.

mrreality68 01-11-2022 08:14 AM

They would be great for bars and darts.

But they would be hard to authenticate because no one believes any of them are real

There were 2 10k+ slots in the kickstarter that were filled, who would logically do this for a set that will sell sub 10 bucks in the future?

"219 backers pledged $60,527 to help bring this project to life."

Something wrong in Whoville on this one.

frankbmd 01-11-2022 10:53 AM

Congressional Dartboards are a much better idea than cards.

A Dartboard Section could be added to the forum.

I can think of a few that would sell out very quickly.

Reminds me of a time when I was interning at a plastics manufacturer. My department was having our morning meeting, and the window in our lab looked out onto the parking lot. The heads of the maintenance and engineering departments were walking through the parking lot. Our department head told us that on Labor Day, the company was sponsoring a fair. Our engineer asked if there would be a clown there, and one of the lab techs looked at our engineer, looked out the window at the two department heads, then looked back at the engineer and goes "There are a lot of clowns here."

I don't want to get political here, but Bernie Sanders is so far left they'd never be able to get him centered on a card... :D

Peter_Spaeth 01-11-2022 02:50 PM

I guess it's too obvious to ask if, like 51 Topps, these come with red and blue backs.

I know Blowout bought a bunch of cases and has been selling them on their site. So that's one major card distributor that probably took a 10K package.

Even better have everyone’s nose in the bullseye and replace the darts with nasal swabs

Hankphenom 01-12-2022 09:11 AM

Like shooting fish in a barrel, isn't it? Fun for the feeble-minded.
