Real or Fantasy ? Need help
 

Never seen these in over 50 years in the hobby and opening up 100 packs of Topps 1967 as a kid. Modern fantasy fakes or were they really included in 1967 packs in some areas? https://www.ebay.com/itm/27498790968...8AAOSwqBhhauwi

I also opened many packs as a kid and I do remember some of them inside. In fact I just looked and I have a couple from back in the day. A very unique item and pretty hard to come by as 99% were likely thrown away with the wrapper.

Thanks Jeff.... I saw a couple at a show today and initially bought them, then had second thoughts and the dealer was kind enough to allow me a credit on return.... but maybe with this new information I may reconsider..... wonder why I never saw any myself..... were they in fact 1967s? I was in Maryland.... maybe only a regional issue? I probably have over 1500 1967s from personal purchase and opening from back then that would make about 300 packs... didnt save the wrappers but have about 50 posters. Maybe I just tossed them out but that wouldnt have been like me.... I was so OCD about my collecting that I still have a 1969 unopened pack with the coin that I bought and purposely never opened!

I am not sure about being regional or not but since the Pinups were distributed nationally I doubt it. It makes sense that these would have only been part of series 3 packs as the Pinups were issued with series 4 packs.
