Another perfectly legitimate Cobb on ebay

Nothing questionable here...

I just sent him a nice little comment.

Well at least the seller is a long term ebay seller and comes highly regarded by his buyers/customers

Sarcasm

:D

The question should be "how much is 90% of a fake worth?"

.

Look at those dark edges... looks like a "coffee soak" to me to add the appearance of age.

These are desperate times. Scammers of all descriptions plague the land. But this guy must have must have been desperate. I love his BIN.

Looks to me like you can pick up a Bat on Cobb in a full PSA 1 for $3-$4 K any day of the week

This guy - who has never sold anything under his current ebay handle - comes outta nowhere with a partial (probably fake) card and sticks it out there at $9K starting?????

So not only is he a probable scammer but he is also completely ignorant.

darkhorse9 01-05-2022 02:34 PM

But...but...it's in screwdown holder. You don't do that if it's fake, right?

jakebeckleyoldeagleeye 01-05-2022 03:38 PM

Bet he found it in a coffee can buried in the back yard or the behind a wall in a house he was refurbishing.;)

luciobar1980 01-07-2022 10:41 AM

Haha. People like this just truly boggle my mind. Are they just really ignorant or trying to get away with something or what? Even if it was a legitimate Cobb it wouldn't be worth a 1/4 of his starting price.

I mean we see stuff like this all the time but it never fails to fascinate me.

FrankWakefield 01-07-2022 07:30 PM

So how much did he pay eBay just to list that???? A 0 feedback seller... Out of focus pics... almost all of the big flags waving.
