My Craziest/Wildest Miscut Of All Time "Half & Half"

Never seen one quite like this, can anyone beat it?

I see the slight tilt.....

....the real question is how's the back ? : Quote:

In the past, if I got a card as badly miscut as the first card shown, I would have simply thrown it away. I never dreamed there would be a market for such cards. I guess I helped make them more collectible. :D

I've
I've seen a lot of wild miscuts in my time but never a half and half like this one, with TWO HOFers too boot

A pair miscut both vertical directions.

75 Baseball for some reason is prone to this extreme miscuts, I had several that were just mixed in with a collection I bought 30+ years ago. Sold 'em a while back IIRC.

I got the Holtzman from a pack when it was new. The Slaton was the worst miscut I'd seen, but the dealer I get it from told me maybe 10 years after that it was made from the scraps of a sheet they'd cut up. (Small strips or panels sold better than a badly damaged sheet, which I'd seen and it was pretty messed up. ) |
WooBay? I am convinced those are strips or sheets purposefully cut like that to sell junk cards at a premium.

I love miscut cards.

The funny thing is you could probably buy a sheet of some of these and miscut them on purpose and make more money selling miscuts then you spent on the sheet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Don't have many but this one is the best of the bunch although it does have some minor surface creases. It's available if anyone is interested.

I'm curious what peoples thoughts are on the MC qualifier on a card where the front presents pretty well centered but the back is miscut.
Are people sticklers on not having any qualifiers on their PC cards or do some consider this a steal for the price? |

After negotiating for a while, I was able to jump on this tough variation, which is 'miscut' on back, for a nice price. The circled number box is clipped an infinitesimal amount (which is fine by me!)... Attachment 495393 |

Here are a bunch of miscuts from my Lou Brock collection.
The 1977 miscuts are blank backed and have a Lou Brock "Ghost" on the front. |

The 1972 is not a mis cut, but features the Brock card back over printed onto the front.

The 1974 card showing the number 21 has Alex Johnson on the front. The 1974 cards showing Fisk on the back are LL cards that are hand cut, and have either John Grubb (#86) or Steve Garvey (#95) identifiable on the back.

I guess the Post Kaline qualifies as a mis cut?

Great stuff!! I even have a name for it: bric-a-Brock.

A few years ago I purchased around 70 miscut 1975 FB and 1976 BB, for a long time I couldn't find what I did with them but I found them today.
Here are a couple of the FB and BB |
