My top five dream hobby gifts
Aside from the awesome Secret Santa contest, I thought it would be fun to list five or so things we would love to have for an acquisition, Christmas or otherwise.
Without putting anything ridiculous (aka Wagner T206, Joe Jackson sig, etc) Here are mine that Id love to get, within reason, that are out of my range now. Any Jackie Robinson autograph a Cracker Jack baseball card of a HOFer in any condition a Thurman Munson autograph Ty Cobb autograph Ticket stub or scored program from any Babe Ruth homer game. Lets see yours!!! |
Trying to keep it reasonable....

1. Jackie Robinson auto
2. Ticket stub to Jackie's debut game 3. Ticket stub to Willie Mays' "The Catch" game 4. A decent looking Michael Jordan Star RC 5. Babe Ruth auto |
This is fun:
1) The remaining signed 1953 Topps that I need, but especially Vern Stephens. Two have gotten away from me this year, including one last week. 2) A signed 1941 Play Ball Jimmie Foxx. 3) Same as above, but Ted Williams. 4) A Tom Brady rookie. 5) A Mac Jones rookie that isn't obscenely overpriced. (Probably should have struck this one so as to not contravene the 'nothing ridiculous' clause). |
1952 topps Ted lepcio
