Thanks for the response. Not an issue. Just wanted to discuss an item he has that I am interested in. Jeff W

+2 and I always liked his unique way of showing items. The round wood grained table he takes the pictures on is classic!!! Reminds me of Leon’s dime (or was it a quarter) he would use to show size in his scans.

It was a quarter. Although with inflation being what it is, I would now expect Leon to use a half-dollar.

Leon has used a (Franklin) half-dollar in the past.

Well maybe it's time for the Susan B. Anthony dollar coin, although Leon strikes me as more of an "I like Ike" Eisenhower silver dollar kind of guy.

Haha.. Leon doesn’t have anything big in his collection where he needs to use a dollar does he?

Every thread should have a card, or in this case, because Jon sells a lot of non-card items, here's a program I got from him 7 years ago this week.

Leon should use a pre war coin like a Barber dime, quarter or half dollar minted from 1892 thru 1916.

Only if it’s centered and has a good strike.

Here is a 1902 Supplement of Pittsburg with a young Honus Wagner. I bought it from one of Jon’s eBay auctions years ago. As an added bonus I’m including a quarter in Leon’s honor to show the size.

Jon bought a bunch of odd ball stuff from me at the National a few years ago. I had a blast haggling with him. He said that he only makes a profit on about 1/3 of the items he buys. As a recall, he did pretty well on my items. No doubt a lot of what he sells now is on consignment.
