How to find Ebay Best Offer Accepted?
Howdy folks,
Wasn't sure exactly where to post this, but does anyone know how to find out what best offer was accepted on an Ebay Buy It Now listing? I found a couple hacks online, including a website called www.watchcount.com, but they did not work for the item in question. Furthermore, I wonder why Ebay keeps these prices a secret when they allow you to see the sold price of any auction listing-- what is the difference and why do they not believe in full transparency on their platform? Hey Ron,
I use 130point.com, and that has worked well for me. Good luck! |
Success on the first try! Great tip, thanks.

I can go into my eBay store and use the "Terapeak product research" feature. Works like a charm. :)

It's so lame that Ebay doesn't just show the actual sold price

They used to show you the best offer price, but stopped a few years back. There have been numerous methods to find the price that people have discovered, but ebay has closed those. The "taxex" method was widely used for a while, but no longer works. 130point is great and still works, but I wouldn't be surprised if they get kyboshed at some point too. Ebay really doesn't want people to know the sale price.
I assume they figured they will make more money by not divulging the price because the price will usually be less than an open auction or buy it now sale price. And by not showing the sale figure, it doesn't factor into lowering the item's overall perceived value on the open market. |
