Beatles Get Back Documentary

Pretty much blown my mind. I can't be the only one. It's long but worth it. Never saw the creative process in real time like this.

It exceeded all my expectations. Great that this footage finally saw the light of day.

I would LOVE to see it, unfortunately, I don't have Disney + and will have to wait for it to be available through other means.

Probably cheaper to pay $8.99 for 1 month of Disney+ than to wait to buy it or rent it. Disney doesn't contract with other services anymore. Maybe they will push it to cable some day. That's what I do with most of these streaming services. For NCAA basketball I get HuluTV, wait 7 days, and then cancel my subscription and it will end at the end of the billing month.

There's a handful of websites you can access that have it streaming for free, I'm not sure if we're allowed to discuss that here on the board, though, so I won't post any links. As long as you have a reliable adblocker installed on your browser, you avoid any potentially annoying pop ups that come along with those sites, and the streaming is pretty reliable.

In general though, Disney Plus is a great service. I feel like we're hitting the new era of Cable with so many streaming services, but Disney Plus has a ton of content. Especially for people with children, grandchildren or those interested in any of the properties that fall under Disney's umbrella, which nowadays is a boatload. Literally everything from Classic Muscials to Star Wars.

Yeah, I thought about that. We had a free year of Disney+ that ended about a year ago. During the year that we had it, we hardly ever watched it. And, I'm the type that would neglect to cancel after a month. So I'd end up paying for at least 2 months, and probably more, and then never watch it after I watched the Beatles doc.

Hahaha that's me too, forgetting to cancel. This year was the first year in three when my wife hasn't asked me a dozen times if I have canceled Hulu.

A card interlude. These are "rookie" cards of the group.

Just finished it last night. Incredible. Completely changes the thought process of how and why the Beatles broke up.

This is about the earliest picture I've ever seen of the Beatles.

I wonder if that's the Casbah Coffee Club. I did a Beatles tour of London and Liverpool a few years ago and that place was so cool. House on a residential street. And Pete Best' brother Roag still gives tours. Bar in the basement. And Roag and his friends drink with you. Just cool as hell.

enjoyed part 1...George just up and quit!

Yoko lived down to expectations...what a weird idiot.
