All Time On Base Leaders Quiz
 

I didn't want to hijack Leon's "What's Your Age?" thread, which was veering towards this topic, so I thought I would put my question here.

In the history of Major League Baseball, only 7 players have got on base at least 5,000 times. It's not hard to Google this, but if you can get all 7 without looking I would be duly impressed. I got 6 by the way.

Don't need you to list your guesses, just tell us how many you got right.

I only got two! D'oh

I'm pleased to have gotten 5 (admittedly I had 8 guesses, not 7)...one I "knew" because he's my favorite player of all time. I was surprised by the two I didn't get and also by a few who didn't make the list. Nice trivia question!

Fun pop quiz.

I got 5 correct.

1,2,3,6 and 7.

My wrong answers were # 11 and #13.

I should have gotten #4, I would have never guessed #5. I pulled his card from a pack as a kid towards the end of his career. It was before cable, and I never really saw him play.

5 for me, but the name of the player in 5th position popped into my head at one point, so I am going to award myself with having 5.5 correct.

5/7 for me. 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 12, 14 were my guesses.

I did pretty well, got #1, 2, 3, 7, and then 11, 13, and.....47 (oops on that one).

I got 6 also. Missed #5

4 for me. Of the 2 I missed one makes sense. The other blows my mind.

I got 5 correct. Mad at myself for not getting #2, probably never would have come up with #5.

And the top 2 on the list may never see the HOF

Got 1,3,4,6,7. Missed 2,5 (guessed 8,9 instead).

I got 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7. Can't believe I never guessed 2 and I just know very little about how great a player 6 was. The 2 I was wrong about was 9 and 11.

I think you are the 1st to guess #5 though. Kudos to you for that.

#5 is the toughest I think.

1, 2, 3, & 7. I got 8 & 9, but picked another one that was way off in left field.

1 3 4 6 7 my others were 8 and 10.

Got 5/7. Missed 2 and 5. Wrong answers were Mays and Ripken.

Got 5. I brain-farted on #4 and #5 was a complete surprise to me.

I also had #16 and #19 slotted in there, so I wasn't really close at all on the last two. :D

5/7. got 1,2,3,5,6. two I missed were 8 and 9 (who were 2 and 22 short of 5000!)

Those were exactly the same as mine. Very close!
