Tale of 2 Mattys

How was there such a price disparity between these 2 cards? am I missing something? different backs?

$2580 is way more than the range of SGC/PSA3s. this is a beauty, but is it exemplary in some way that I cannot tell?

I had not seen the prices until after I made my decision and I was correct. The one that went lower has a great look and centering but that chuck missing on lower left corner stood out. I exaggerate but it really stands out compared to the other one. I'd prefer the higher priced one but not sure I would have paid that much more. I just like the overall look of the higher priced one. Just my 2 cents!
