Hunt Live Auction
Anyone else have problems logging in today? Any big scores? There were a few items I was watching and bid on one but couldnt log in to bid live for some reason

1885 Baltimore photo
Won the 1885 Baltimore team photo. Went to make room for it and discovered, awkwardly, that I had one already that I had purchased a number of years ago. This has never happened before - kind of a humbling experience. Clearly I need to update the inventory of my collection. In the meantime, I have two 1885 Baltimore team photos and only need one.

I lost out on the only item I wanted - 1911 Helmar Stamps complete set. I was the leader heading into live bidding. I didn't join the live bidding process, but I went as high as I wanted during the online session. The price ended one bid higher than mine and is about right in my opinion.
And while I have a complete set already (done the old fashioned way built one-by-one), the examples in this particular lot were absolutely outstanding, having originally been part of the Copeland Collection. |
