WTB: Vintage Topps Hall of Fame Pitchers (1952-80). No rookies!

I would like to start a small project to celebrate the rich history of vintage Topps releases.

After doing some research, it is wonderfully coincidental that every post-war Hall of Fame pitcher can represent each year from 1952-80 with no omissions, no rookies, and no duplicate years. It really is remarkable when you think about it.

If Jim Kaat is elected this year, the run can extend to 1981. Only Lee Smith’s 1982 RC would break the streak.

My focus is more on the Topps design rather than the player, so I want to complete this run with no rookies anyway.

Here’s where you can help. Please see my attached want list and desired PSA grade.

Please me know what you have and hopefully we can make a deal. Thanks!

I don't think I have any of those cards in the grade you're looking for, but I think that's a fabulous project!

Thanks anyway and thank you very much! Will be pacing myself to just 1-2 a month, so am in no hurry.

There are many, many combinations to achieve this, but I chose this particular lineup based on imagery and/or significance the year might have to the player…not to mention availability. Paige is exclusive to ‘53 of course, so that sort of forces ‘52 for Feller and ‘55 for Newhouser..

Hope to post my success every now and then.
