Unable to verify authenticity.

I posted this in OP original thread and messaged him but he claims because the writing is so crisp his is real. Photo below was taken tonight of my clip that I know to be fake. You decide..
Quaker oats issued a fan kit with a pin a scorer ( the photo on the scorer was used on this fake clip a book and a photo. I cannt find an auction with a kit that contained a pencil clip

No, I stated to you that Leon seemed to think it was ok in your private msg. If you read further in the thread I still ask for more confirmation. Not cool to make me look like I'm deliberately trying to deceive. Besides I deleted the text to the thread.

I sent you a PM stating very clearly why I thought your item was not legit. You fired right back saying yours looks better than some on ebay so yours was legit.

I have the answer to my own question. I not only have a Babe ruth pencil clip, but a Satchel Paige one as well.

The Satchel Paige one has letters that are blobs under magnication. The Ruth one has clear letters. The Ruth is obviously real. The Paige is a reproduction. "

You answered your own question. You were not looking for any one elses opinion. You certinly did not seem happy when I tried nicely to help. So if you weren't going to listen to reason What was I supposed to do but post that you had a fake item listed here on net54. I belive it is the right thing to do.
