FS: 1964 Topps Aaron/Mays #423 PSA6 (SOLD)
This looks to good too put on eBay and get the "grade" price.
I think the grader was one of those "Fri/Mon" types; with this centering, clean front/back; I'll let the card stand on it's own merits. I had to dumb-down the resolution on the pix in order to get this platform to accept the uploads. I can email the higher resolution images to any interested. I usually swim around here in the Pre-war E and T ponds but obviously I dabble in other eras. My Mom kept my '69 - '71 cards from packs my Dad bought me on his way home from work; I took good care of them and know a nice one when I see it. This is a beaut. Free shipping and insurance. Cash, check or money order only please. PM me here with any Q's or offers. https://www.net54baseball.com/pictur...ictureid=31943 https://www.net54baseball.com/pictur...ictureid=31944 Successful transactions with: Casey2296, Jacklitsch, wolf441, shepbuckman, seablaster, Bridwell. brianp-beme, hatchetman325, quinnsryche, joejo20, Brian Van Horn, Thromdog. |

that grade is a joke, for the first 20 years this would have been a psa 8 easily. this is what makes grading a joke, that they can easily change the standards and the crowd follows. the hobby is littered with older psa 8 slabs that look worse than this, instead of a boycott to how psa changed the standard to curb pop reports getting too big, the hobby made them so much money they could not keep up with demand. yesterdays psa 8 is todays 5 or 6...!!!! sir you have one great card there.....

That is part of the reason I have held on to it; eventually, the hobby will return to it's roots; evaluate with it's own knowledge/vision and appreciate accordingly. Ben |
