How do you report an eBay list of a reprint?
 

Currently on eBay there is a 1947 Tip Top Bread card which I am 100% sure is actually a reprint.

I have reached out to the seller and I'd like to report it to eBay as well. However, when I go to "Report Item" there doesn't seem to be an option for a "fake item".

How can I accomplish this?


Note: I have no reason to believe the seller is doing something sketchy. There are a lot of these reprints out there where the side has been trimmed and passed along.

(Notice the left shoulder on the real card on how the stripe goes all the way down to the boarder of the card

Quite honestly, why bother? There are tons of reprints on ebay. Not trying to downplay your knowledge or anyone elses, but why would Ebay consider you an authority on the card more than the seller?

They don't care

I just reported one this morning. Here's what I do... Click on report item, then Listing Practices -> Fraudulent Listing -> Listing is Fraudulent. I've seen a few that I've reported end prematurely, but many still run to completion, so I'm likely wasting my time, but I'll keep doing it just in case it's helping someone. I think all of them have been from sellers with <5 feedback.

I am sure many people who you may never know appreciate your efforts (unknowingly) because everyone that is reported is potentially one less person scammed

When you report, the 'counterfeit' choice is under Copyright and Trademark if you select that from the first box. 'Fraudulent Listing' is under 'Listing Practices', maybe that also applies, not sure which is best to actually get attention/action.

Every item I have ever complained about was taken down in a day.
Follow the steps that someone suggested above.
