PSA Labels Question

I notice that some PSA labels have a colorful “PSA” label in the middle of the card description while others do not. When did PSA begin printing labels with this logo added? Is there any significance attributed to this logo or is it simply an updated version of the original label?

Thanks

When does this auction close?

Seriously though, you probably not going to get much info by posting a question in the "Live Auctions" subforum.

Its an updated label

PSA has gone through about 10 different flip/hologram iterations in its 30+ years of incompetence. Some people like the newest one better, but it's mainly marketing.

This thread was put in the Live Auction BST section, which is the reason for the bids. A little levity never hurts...

I started noticing it about 4-5 years ago; I'm sure someone who regularly submits to PSA can provide a more accurate date range.

The lighthouse label started mid 2017 as I recall. As Swarmee mentioned before that there were tons of iterations. A google search probably will find various posts identifying the sequence.
