To answer as briefly as I can: It is simply TIME, as I am now over 80 & if anything would happen to me, my family would be left w/ a big backroom FULL of cards that they would have no idea what to do w/! My boyhood collection would probably go for pennies instead of dollars, so have decided to sell most of it myself.

Yes, it is tough to do--the complete sets will be the last to go!

I asked Fred the same question as I have purchased many things from him lately. It sounds like he gets that question often. He is a gem to deal with and whatever his reasons I’m happy to acquire for my collection things he has had in his collection for years.
