Condolences For Fans of Losing NY Teams
All members are invited to participate by posting condolences for all loyal upstanding NY fans after one of their beloved teams loses. The fans would appreciate condolences after each loss in every sport and let's not exclude the suburban teams on Long Island and the Meadowlands. We at Net54 want everyone to feel better and when New York loses, their fans need a lift. When a New York team wins, it is not an upset by definition so condolences for the losers of these games are not needed or expected.

Liberty lost in the first round of the WNBA playoffs. Hahhaahahahahaha.
|
How about you worry about your team and we'll worry about ours?
|
If everyone who hates New York so much could please stay out of the city it would be appreciated.

We do have the team with the best winning record in the history of all professional sports . . . The Harlem Globetrotters! :D

Regardless of NY Cities or their success or recent lack of success. The Reality is that most Cities and Most Teams in all sports are not that successful and/or do not have good years or multiple years.
The Reality is that the quality of the ownership of teams in any sport, the stability of their Front Office, and the quality of the Organization determines the success of the teams. For those teams that succeed and their fan base congrats and for all the teams that are not successful in those cities and sports then they suffer like any other fan base. Every Team Has Supporters and Haters and that is all the fun of Sports and being a Fan So to All those NY Haters. Have at it. :D |
No hating, just responding to their sensitivity.
What the world needs now, is ................... |
As a fan of the one NFL team that actually plays in New York I would just like to say go Bills!
Also go Mets! Going to be a big off-season of hiring front end guys and a coach that will then have scandalous old emails revealed I’m sure. Sigh. |

Great idea, but I do not think Dusty Springfield has a baseball card. Perhaps Dusty Baker could pinch hit, but I don't have one. |

Ya know, the Yanks might not have won the Series since 2009, but they have won it 27 times overall. That's because their owners, for the most part gave a crap about the team, and could actually afford to own a team. Thus, Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Mantle, Reggie, Mattingly, Jeter and all the rest. Maybe if your owner gave a damn instead of pocketing whatever profit, your team might be a winner. But the thing is, I'm 63. Your team could win the Series every year until I'm pushing up daisies, and still not catch up with the Yankees. Now how do you like that?

This is yet another ill-advised thread. No one except you is going to appreciate your witty, snappy, weaselly, condescending, jealous little anti-NY digs.

My sincere condolences for all those years New York did not win the World Series. Just imagine how exciting the World Series would have been if New York had won 100 World Championships in a row (99 of which were four game sweeps). |

I assume Frank is mocking a certain individual in the water cooler section whose entire reason to live apparently is to meticulously catalog the failures of NY sports teams. The oxygen that sustains him. I believe this is all intended as a not so subtle goofing on that individual. But I could be wrong. Frank seems to operate on a different frequency than us mere mortals.
